Celebrating Thanksgiving last Thursday got us thinking about the ways the Northwest Folklife Festival brings families together - to make music, dance, and play - and in the process, how the culture of Folklife is passed on to another generation. This week, Folklives features stories told by kids and parents, and a Festival performance from Just Fiddlin' Around, a family band led by a couple of young Folklifers from Vashon Island, WA, Megan Hackett and Hannah Scheer. Also featuring music from Orkestar Zirkonium and Hobe Kytr.
