The Pike Place Buskers' Showcase
Street performer extraordinaire Jim Hinde coordinated this show, bringing in all the most outstanding buskers who perform daily on the sidewalks of Pike Place Market in Seattle.
The artistry required to be a successful street performer is brought to the stage in this annual show, which combines social protest music with gospel, Rhythm & Blues, and country rags.

Center House Theatre
Monday afternoon in the Center House Theatre features performances by tremendously talented Northwesterners performering global traditions. Brian Falconer performed Japanese music for solo koto, followed by his parents Elizabeth and John, as Duo En. Zimbabwean music on mbiras was next, with Mahonyera. Finally, Los Guayaberos Errantes delivered beautiful songs from Venezuela, with the help of their friends in the Seattle Peace Choir.
