The Big Jewish Show

This community-supported showcase features an intergenerational lineup of artists working to carrying on the Jewish heritage of klezmer music in the Pacific Northwest. From jazz to bluegrass, these bands fuse klezmer with the best of traditional American music.

The Many Shades of Gospel Music

The annual Folklife gospel show, organized by Pastor Pat Wright, will lift you up! Performances by the Total Experience Gospel Choir, Sparkling Choir of Love, Choir of Light, STANDance, Michelle Lang & Still Water, and A Moment in Time.

The Pike Place Buskers' Showcase

Street performer extraordinaire Jim Hinde coordinated this show, bringing in all the most outstanding buskers who perform daily on the sidewalks of Pike Place Market in Seattle.

The artistry required to be a successful street performer is brought to the stage in this annual show, which combines social protest music with gospel, Rhythm & Blues, and country rags.

Alki Court Stage

All day on Monday, a line-up of Northwest artists took the stage at the intimate Alki Court. Audiences heard folk songs and country blues, tunes from Ireland and Scandinavian singing as they browsed the craft booths or lounged near the stage.

Center House Theatre

Monday afternoon in the Center House Theatre features performances by tremendously talented Northwesterners performering global traditions. Brian Falconer performed Japanese music for solo koto, followed by his parents Elizabeth and John, as Duo En. Zimbabwean music on mbiras was next, with Mahonyera. Finally, Los Guayaberos Errantes delivered beautiful songs from Venezuela, with the help of their friends in the Seattle Peace Choir.
